Wonderful choice, can’t wait to go back again!!

What a lovely hotel, so different from the commercial chain hotels. Nothing too much trouble, the staff were absolutely charming, we had breakfast lunch and dinner at different times, all excellent. Nice pool area with service. Couldn’t recommend it more highly. The taxi service provided by Henry was prompt and efficient, taking us to a wedding and to different places for dinner. Those of you who don’t go don’t know what you’re missing!!

Beautiful Stellenbosch

We stayed here for our last night in South Africa. A beautiful comfortable hotel. When I walked into the lobby I went back and checked our room rate as this is such good value for money. Fantastic, accommodating staff. We loved the vine hopper tour they organised.

Lovely hotel – Excellent location

This is the perfect hotel from which to explore Stellenbosch. On our arrival the staff were all friendly and accommodating; the rooms were spacious, light, modern and very well equipped with a relaxing view of the pool area. The hotel is a lovely mix of old and new decor and we loved the way the dining room has been built around a tree and the vine over the patio area. There are shops, museums and restaurants in easy walking distance of this hotel.

Excellent all rounder

This small but smart hotel was a wonderful find. Set in the centre of town it has all the convenience required to explore on foot. The bar area is lovely and well stocked. We ate in the restaurant one night of our 3 there, and that was a very nice experience. The food excellent and the wine list extensive. The best feature of this hotel though is its staff. They are just wonderful.

Charming hotel. If you visit Stellenbosch it’s a must.

The hotel is totally charming and so is the team there. It’s just an ideal location to explore Stellenbosch and the surrounding areas. We only did two nights and should have done more. Loads of restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel (we didn’t eat at the hotel for no other reason than we wanted to stretch our legs each night). Their green policy and support efforts for community projects deserve a special mention.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights this January and absolutely loved it. Although it is supposedly an old hotel it has had a wonderful modern makeover. Everything about this hotel was just lovely. The rooms and beds are huge, and beautifully decorated, the pool area is small but gorgeous and the terrace restaurant serves tasty salads for lunch. There is a charming lounge serving snacks and drinks, all of a high quality. The staff were charming and helpful. Very happy customers. If you like the sun try and get a top floor room with a balcony terrace. The hotel is in a great location for the local restaurants, cafés and boutiques. Highly recommend.

A beautiful quiet hotel in the centre of town

This hotel is delightful. The staff are courteous and helpful. Our first impression of this hotel was good when our car was valet parked under the hotel and our luggage brought to our room. Our room, 118, on the ground floor had an open plan bathroom with shower and a surprisingly comfortable bath. The sliding patio doors opened onto a small patio and then the smallish enclosed saltwater pool. The bed was enormous and we both had 2 excellent nights sleep. Breakfast was good, buffet style and also a menu of cooked items. The eggs benedict was lovely. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here should we pass this way again.

Hidden gem

What a beautiful hidden gem in lovely Stellenbosch. The hotel is magnificent. The food is fantastic and the location is great. I never knew about this place but I’m glad I do now. I brought three groups of 20 guests here for a launch last week and not one complaint. Highly recommended.
