Restaurant 1802 is regarded as one of the culinary landmarks in Stellenbosch. In 1982 the restaurant opened its doors and for decades has been regarded as one of the best in town. In addition to the extensive traditional menu, a variety of light meals is available, as well as Continental cuisine.

Oude Werf Hotel strives to present a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere in the restaurant, for the benefit of our many regular diners and aims to maintain an unhurried pace so that our guests at no time feel pressured.

During the winter months the fireplace keeps guests snug, while in summer, the airconditioning and magnificent vine-covered courtyard where most tables are situated, provides a welcome respite from the African sun.

Breakfast: 07h00 - 10h30 Monday - Saturday and from 08h00 - 10h30 on Sundays.
Lunch: 11h00 - 18h00
Dinner: 18h00 onwards
